Summary of responsibilities :
As a SAAQ Inspector, you will act as an agent of the SAAQ, inspecting vehicles to ensure compliance with SAAQ standards. We are looking for daytime SAAQ Inspectors.
Main responsibilities of the SAAQ inspector :
- Carry out mechanical inspections on vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 4500 kg or more, such as trucks, trailers or buses.
- Re-verification of conformity following a non-compliant inspection.
Skills required :
- Essential: at least 5 years’ mechanical experience (to qualify for SAAQ certification)
- Experience as a SAAQ inspector an asset;
- DEP in mechanics;
- Class 5 driving license;
- Communication and interpersonal skills;
- Professionalism;
- Organizational and planning skills;
- Dynamism;
- Meticulous and rigorous.
